Not sure why he is swimming at the top horizontally. He looks fine but I know something is definetly wrong with him. He has been swimming like this for 2 weeks now. Fins seem fine, other oscars in the take are doing fine. If anyone can help, that would be great. Oh and his apetite is normal. *scratches head.

Not a good sign. How big is your tank, and how many Oscars are in it? Have you tested your water? What are ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings? Any other symptoms besides swimming on his side?

I found out he had some bizarre lump on one side of his stomache. I put him out of his misery with 2-3 chopps with my butcher knife. Then I threw him in the sewers because he was atleast 15" long and he couldnt be flushed.
