I got a petition going on at Oscar Cichlid Fan Club to ban artifically coloured oscars if anyone is interested in putting their name to it.

Artificially colored Oscars??!! ... How and why would someone want to do that??

If you read the petition it explains what coloured oscars are like the blueberry oscar.

I suppose a few members here would not know what proccess is involved in colouring them.

They are put in a tank of concentrated dye or injected with dye. The colour only lasts 6 months and the oscar slowely dies.
