In the past, a water change/gravel vacuum would make my Oscars hide, peek out from behind rocks, etc. until they knew the coast was clear. During yesterday's water trauma, PB (the Tiger) and J (the Red) were inquisitive, swimming around like they OWN the aquarium, nosing the siphon while I was vacuuming, then immediately after it was over, they were at the surface asking me:

how are the grandkids?

. . .and . . .

BTW, aren't you ever going to feed us?!?
