Would anyone like to share what pets, other than fish (I know, how dare we?), that you share your home with?

Besides my oscars and community fish, I have a dog and a Bearded Dragon.

Just thought it might be an interesting discussion.

Well, I have lazy black cat. Loves to get a massage. When I come home it "immediately" drops on it's side as if suddenly dropped dead and meows for a nike neck massage.

i have a dog and 2 ferrets male and female but they fix them before you get a chance to breed them bill is nuttless too (hes fixed )

Between my 2 kids, my husband (or is he a third kid?) and my fish, I don't have time for other pets...although I have a dog who lives at my grandmothers house. He's half husky, half german shepherd, and one beautiful dog at that. Someday I'd like to gets my girls a kitten or two, but I'm allergic to cats, so it might not happen...

I do have one 12 inch oscar, a new 12 inch pleco, 5 columbian tetras, 9 tiger barbs, 5 catfish (3 brown, 2 white) and a small pleco....I lost one...Oh, yea, and a few feeders, but they usually don't make it long

Oh, thomas, sometimes I wonder about you boy!! LOL

I have 3 large aquariums (2 60 gallons and 1 130 gallon), a Pomeranian, 3 cats, a 4ft Iguana and a Bearded Dragin name Lucifer.

other than my oscars I've got some community fish (2 black moors, 2 kuhli loaches, clown pl*co, whiptail cat, and a lace cat) And I've got two dogs, too. Springer spaniel mixed with something Sebastion (the male)has sort of white feet with black spots on them. I love them just about as much as I love my fish, If it's possible to love a fish

Lisa - How do you like owning both an Iguana and a Bearded Dragon? I chose a bearded dragon over an iguana because they don't get so big and after a lot of research, they seemed to have a more patient personality. Do you notice that your iguana has more of a temper? Oh, I love the name of your beardie. My beardie's name is Zeus (hence the user name). Does your Iguana have a name?

I thought I would add some more information about my other pets. My dog's name is Sonja. My beardie's name is Zeus. I have 2 oscars named Oscar (that's required, isn't it) and Al (short for albino) that share a tank with Max the pleco. I have a community aquarium with 2 goldfish (although one has lost its color and is now white - have read this is normal), 1 white red-capped oranda known as Pigly because of his appetite, 2 Kuhli loaches that we thought were dead until we cleaned out the tank and found them under the decorations, 1 dojo loach, a spotted pim catfish, and a gorgeous pleco. I am not sure what kinds my two plecos are, but the one in the community tank is a beautiful dark brown.

Thanks for sharing all. It's interesting to find out what other pets Oscar owners share their homes with.

I have 3 dogs. One black lab, and two chows, one is cinemon and one is cream. I used to have 2 iguanas but didn't have the time to attend to them the way they needed to be to be all tame and nice. One african ball python which I gave up as well by no choice of my own. She got out of the porch one nite and never seen again. Good thing I have nice woods around me >.=)

Well, aside from the 6 tanks, we have 3 cats: Pooh, a lilac pointe siamese, Puck, a black and white barn cat from Wisc. and Ping, a tabby stray; 2 dogs: Demi, a mini dachshund (who is in charge of all of us) and Dodge, a lab mix. I have pics posted on my web site, same link as the fish pics.

i saw 2 butiful albios in the pet store those little oscars were -1.5 inches but dad said no son yours is too big and will eatm them

i gotta beared dragon n an oscar and hopefully a firemouth

WELL I HAVE 1 CAT,4 DUCKS(ONE IS LIKE A GUARD DOG),2 PEACH FACE PARROTS (LOVE BIRDS),2 COCKATIELS(LIKE SMALL COCKATOOS,VERY SMART),9 RATS (I HAD 30 UNTILL I FOUND HOMES FOR THE BABIES,MALES AND FEMALES ARE NOW KEPT SEPERATE)4 TIGER OSCARS,1 BLACK MOOR,2 ANGEL FISH,1 SALMON CATFISH,2 TIGER BARBS,2 ALINO CATFISH,2 SIAMISE FIGHTERS,1 RED CAP,3 COMETS AND 4 OTHER BREEDS OF GOLDFISH THAT I CANT REMEMBER THEIR NAMES.
I ALSO HAVE 6 KIDS AND I LOVE IT AND SO DO THE KIDS MIND YOU MY WIFE THINKS I GOING MAD
BUT SHE DOESANT SHARE MY LOVE OF PETS,EXCEPT THE CAT AND A RECENTLY DECEASED DUCK MY DOG KILLED.(I NO LONGER HAVE THE DOG AS YOU GUESS)
