CichlidFish.com - Fish That Think.

Recently I have heard that Beefheart is a good food item to feed oscars so i decided to try it with mine. One of my oscars readily accepts it but the other just completely ignores it. He has greedly accepted everything else I have fed him things such as Tetra Doromin, Cichlid Staple and Gold, shrimp pellets, and the occasional feeders. What should I do?

beef heart can be a good source of protein, but be shure to trim off the fat. that stuff is baaad. if he ignores it, just let him, its not like those pellets are bad for him =P .

Some Os wont eat it unless its processed in a blender and frozen into little blocks. I do it this way and misx in pellets with the beef heart mix beffore freezing. Its also good cause it floats for a while too,when something sinks mine tend to ignore it
