oscar eggs

the eggs were beige again but nothing eventuated. after about 24hrs the eggs started to get a clear mucus over the top of all of them . just wondering is this normal. Q2 after 40 odd hrs the eggs etc. were gone, would the oscars clean up the eggs or what ? because nothing could go near them at all. and there were no fry.

hi....chances are,the oscars eaten the eggs.
next spawning time remove the eggs or separate the parents from eggs.make sure theres a gentle flow of water near the eggs and wait and see what happens.
you might have 2 females trying to spawn?it does happen.are you sure you have a true pair of o,s?

good luck,keep us posted.;)
