Organism Problem?

i have some weird looking organisms in my tank. they look like Lice or someething.
very small, white, and they move around. they are everywhere, including the gravel. what could it be? snail babies? parasites? i am perplexed.........

Big enough to take some pictures of them? Are they "worm-like" etc....you might want to try some anti-biotics or adding salt to the tank.

they are NOT worm-like, they are like the size of the ball-point on a pin.......

it sounds like planaria. there are two good ways to get rid of them.
1) (Natural) Use double the normal amount of aquarium salt (1.5 tablespoons per 5 gal. of water) and raise the temp to about 82 degrees F.

2) (Chemical) Coppersafe by Mardel in the recommended dosage.

what you also should do is give the gravel a good vacuum so you remove the planarias' food source.

Or if you can, move out your fish to another "medicinal" tank and do a thorough cleanout of your infected tank maybe get rid of your gravel or chlorinate it etc....personally I've only got one tank with gravel in it, rest are all bare bones....
