Neon Dwarf Gourami

Hi

I have a pair of these in a breeding tank at the mo, unfortunately the male isn't really doing much about the bubble nest, and just keeps chasing her!

Any ideas on what i can do to encourage him?? There are floating plants in the tank for the nest, but he hasn't done anything yet!

Unfortunatly these are a nutoriously difficult fish to breed, they need exact water conditions etc etc.

try feeding them exclusivly on live and frozen foods, dimming the lights, lowering the water level by about 5 inches or so and increase the temp to about 30 (if its already at 30, lower it to what ever, 25 or something... nothing too drastic for a week before lowering the water level)

heres a link that might help.

Thanks for the reply.

He's started with little patches of bubbles here and there. Hopefully they'll be some progress over nite.
