Tony, are they common over there like pleco's are here? Just curious as I have never seen them before.

few variations of them
They are protected in victoria due to small numbers but not in the other states of Australia like mine (Queensland).
They are one of the finest tasting fish that you can get. (dont worry no dinner plans for this one Image )

About a metre(3 feet) is the record I think
but only half that usually
