HI timber, and welcome to the forum.

I have read your post, and I am not 100% sure of what exactly is wrong. By saying "his ick spot", are you saying he has Ichthyophthiriurs? This is comonly called Ick, or Ich. It looks like salt has been sprinkled on the fish.

You seem to be treating for a lot of problems. The first step is to identify what is wrong, a shotgun approach to treating the fish can be worse than the disease.

If it is Ich, which is mostly a non leathal problem to healthy fish, then the main tank he came from has ich, and must be treat for it.

First we need some basic information.
Size of your main tank.
Other fish in the tank.
Water temp.
Water paramaters, ie ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.

A picture is sometimes an awsome tool to help us diagnose a problem, so if you can post one, feel free to do so.

Im sorry it took so long for me to write back we had a friend visiting but the fish is doing better we put copper safe in the tank with him and nitrate reducer along with salt he is at 79 % when we first got him they didnt tell us that he cant or shouldnt eat fish and thats what happened we found out thats not a good thing to do for him but I was wondering about how long before his ick spot goes away after treatment and what else can I feed him besides oscar grow and blood worms?

The oscars that I had loved brine shrimp, ghost shrimp, regular pellets, and when they were little they chowed flake. Its very common for feeders to bring ich into your tank. So if yiu do give him live food do so on occassion, and NOT on a regular basis, good luck
