keep your filter media and the gravel wet as possiable.Move the fish in buckets of water from the tank.

If you can keep everything wet and keep the bacteria alive, just pour the buckets of water and fish in add some water and it'll be just like you did a water change.

moving my tank

I had moved from my apartment to a house about 20 miles away. All I did was take the water from the tank and placed my 2 oscars in one 5 gal bucket and my Pleco into another and then drove them out to the new house. I dumped them into the tank after I cleaned it. They all did fine and are still growing! I also hooked up my portable pump for my minnow bucket to the two buckets to keep oxygen in the water.
