My oscar has been getting a growth under it's chin for about two weeks now. It started out looking like a zit but grew quit a bit.It now has stablized but the swelling goes inside it's mouth and the outside just hangs off and looks like a white piece of skin.I have posted on a few boards but have had no response. I already had salt in the tank and added some more last week which seemed to stop it but it has not gone away. I am thinking it is fungal.

this could have happened when your oscar was rubbing on the glass with his mouth they have a tendency to do that.Watch the oscar for a few days and see if it gets any worse.
