On November 18 there is supposed to be a meteor storm in which you can possibly see 800-4000 meteors (shooting stars) per hour. Check out this site for more info. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2001/ast08nov_1.htm

Yeah I watched the one in 1998 at 2am in the morning and it was fantastic.
Imagine what these sort of thimgs would have looked like centuries ago with no smog etc.

Hey Tony, I have heard about the one in 1998 but didn't see it. How many did you see and how did they look? Were they pretty bright and leaving tails or very small and dim.
