I recently found an article posted on the web from this web site about long fin leopard danios it was under
http://www.cichlidfish.com/articles the article # was 3741 and it stated under breeding that "Leopard danio pairs do not produce fertile eggs." I know for a fact that is not true. I recently put my male and female leopard danios in a breeder and they spawned on 7/3/ 04 and now as of 7/5/04 I have several with babies esily seen through the egg about to hatch. Who ever wrote the article was either misinformed and had never tried to breed them theirselves or did not wait long enough for the eggs to hatch or maybe the male or female or even both were infertile. Any way mine are doing good. I will update as to how the babies are doing soon.
