Getting them to tango...

Labidochromis caeruleus

Yippee... here we go again... :D

Mother Number Two is holding eggs in her mouth :D :D I noticed her courting with the dominant male as I was going out to work this morning. I came home at lunchtime to find her hiding behind the filter intake. She's much thinner than she was this morning ;)

Mother Number One has gone AWOL for the past few days. I was hoping she was hiding somewhere in the tank, but as the days go by that is looking increasingly unlikely. Oh well.

Meanwhile, six of the fry have survived and now have their black dorsal stripes. They are now in a 40 gallon tank with a few small plecos and LOTS of plants. I'm going to get a divider so I can keep the fry in one half and the holding mother in the other.
