hi people!...anyone here into keeping koi carp???:)

yeah jay man, i keep ghost koi in a pond outside, i had a showa (spelling?? lol) and a kin ki, but the both died of illness a few months ago before i had to re stock.

i really wanted to keep some mirror carp (real old english carp) but they get way to big.

i did manage to find a full scaled mirror ghost koi, a party scaled mirror ghost and a leather all in the same store. lol (i got a common scaled too, for the full set)

hiya craig!! yeah i love carp and fishing for them...my dad had a nice koi pond but my parents moved and they had to leave pond and fish behind.

i love catching them but absolutly hate fishing exclusivly for them, just SO bleeding picky for such a fat fish, lol

my mate kept some ghost koi in a tank for a while, they grew so unbelievablly quikly it was unreal.

hi........i normally only fish in local waters,(i live in southend on sea) but i dont just fish for carp.anything really.roach,rud,tench,bream,pearch etc,etc.
but as you said its chuffin cold at the mo,so im staying in until summer!lol.....

cant wait to get a bigger garden so i can build my koi pond!!;)
