Johnni (Melanochromis)

Well,

They are mouth brooders, normally the female takes care of them. But I have seen males do it to. Males are a midnight black, with two electric blue stripes on their sides. Females are a golden-yellow or a drab brown, when breeding they lose some color. It's best to breed them in a group, 3-4 females to 1 male. It's best to have a lot of caves for the females to hide in, to avoid the males pestering.

Hope this helps!

Later, Billy
