Introduction To my family

Postby SoonerJeff on Sun Feb 27, 2005 8:54 pm

Evening everyone,

Figured its about time me and the wife sat down and did this. We didnt even realize it was here till yesterday. Therefore we took a picture and decided to fill you in a little bit on us and our lives. Lets start with the wife. Sarah, shes my sweetheart been with me for over 5 years, still going strong. She has basically taken care of me the past 2 months due to my recent work accident. She is a college algebra teacher at a local Junior College (TCC). She has never owned a fish or anything besides a cat before me, I ruined that overnight with the purchase of a(n) oscar and pl*cco. Now our collection of fish have grown dramatically which I will list at the bottom of this post. She has grown to love aquatic pets since she has been the one taking care of mine. Enough about her tho, the important thing is the fish neways. My name is Jeff of course, I am currently on medical leave from my local police department following shooting incident back in January, tis why she has been taking care of my fish. I am doing better and soon will return back to work. I dont have much to really say about me actually, my life evolves around the wife and work.. and my pets. The wife and I got married 3 years ago while I was in the police acadamy, she was a teach at the campus we held classes. Love at first sight I shall add :) <--- kinda added that cause she was looking over my shoulder. We live in Tulsa Oklahoma, T-Town. Neither one of us like it here, but its home to us so we choose to stay. On to the good part.

Here are the occupants of my tanks.

Tank 1: 30g, 3 male red devils, 1 pl*cco
Tank 2: 55g, 1 male red tiger oscar, 1 female albino tiger oscar, 1 pl*cco
Tank 3: 55g, 7 Bala Sharks, 4 Silver Dollars, 2 Jack Dempsy's
Tank 4: 40g, Community Tank, tons of fish I couldnt start to name
Tank 5: 110g, 1 male red tiger oscars, 2 female red tiger oscars, 1 pl*cco - This tank houses my first aquatic pets (ReX:DeLilIaH:ChArmAinE:AlBeRt)

Yes folks, My garage is no longer mine. As you can tell my wife has been putting up with allot and without her none of this is possible. Let her know what a good person she is. :)

Well I dont know what else to really say. Im really a novice fish expert (if there are experts) I know what I know from folks on here and books I have plenty of time to read. If you need help with anything I am just a PM away or always reading your posts.

God Bless,

Jeff

Here is a picture we took just for you guys, my wifes best friend took it so if it dont look right, then well blame her!

LoL, yea Jeff we agree your wife is great to put up with you :D It's great that your coworkers got you some service contract for the tanks they got for you! Anyway, take it easy and get better, we like your fisht but it's more important that you get back to full health! You look a lot younger than I imagined, how old are you?

Hey, great to hear you're off those drugs/"killers" ;)

If you're off any other medications I'd recommend increasing your food intake, and especially fruit/vegetable juices. Or take some vitamin supplements, magnesium citrate, potassium citrate, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B6/12 complex, and calcium and vitamin D if haven't been getting much sunlight. And keep well hydrated! Fruits and vegetables are good though to help clean you out and get you ready for harder foods, eggs are good.... Oh yea, and maybe take some royal jelly bee also. (It is a natural product produced by honey bees, bees that are fed this royal jelly become 'queen bees', live MUCH longer than the regular beeze and are bigger etc.... It is a VERY rich source of many vitamins and amino acids and acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter. It should give you more ENERGY and even help your wounds HEAL FASTER. For Coenzyme Q10 (good for the heart) you can eat spinach and sardines :) )

Cichlidfish, are you sure you're not a doctor? You really know your stuff when it comes to health. Have you ever considered becoming one?

Nea, why be a doctor these days? I like to help people, not drug them to death! :D ;)
(by the way, you don't have to have bullet-holes in you to benefit from foods/supplements mentioned in my last post :) )
