identify please!

identify please!

can anyone tell me what kind of fish this is??
I aquired 3 of them in a divorce LOL
along with 3 frogs and a cory cat
They are 2 inches long and excellent community fish!
any help apreciated

Ah this seems to be from the NOT SEEN species only shows up with a camra around and a GOOD LINK TO..

Barb, I have 3 of these and they are pretty awesome. sure with i could find some more. They look like a gold fish but definately not a gold fish.
There is too much shiny green in the body!
The gal i got them from thought hey were some type of tetra!??? :dontknow:
does anyone have any other suggestions????

My answer here is their is NO picture of what you want a ID of..BUT I use a different forum setting and that may keep it from showing up.. DID u post a pic??
glad the Pleco is doing great.. they are tough guys..

So the fish U want to ID are tetras?? NOW I have NEVER seen a goldfish like that looks like a tetra.. That would be  a first.. Can U post a pic in the gallery?? Either the board gallery or the other one is fine.. Barb

Looks like a Schuberti barb to me, and very nice too

The lfs here calls them golden barbs, sell for about $4 and they have them all the time.
