How's it hanging, folks? Long time no see, I know...but I've got a quick question for you...

I've got about a 2500 or 3000 gallon pond in my backyard I've been working on digging out for about the past 6 months. I've finally finished all of the solid physical labor, and am going shopping for pond liners today. I've come to the realisation that I have absolutely no clue what kind of filtration I'm going to realistically need to power a 2 and a half foot tall waterfall in such a garden...

I also am not entirely sure of how many GPH I'm going to want to run in such a system. What kind of turnover to I need to be looking for?

I'll post some pictures of the project as it nears completion, I'm sure...I'm excited about it to say the least...

Any suggestions? Past experience? Anything of the sort?

Nice seein' all of y'all again. Been a long time, and I'm pretty well permanently without internet at this point...so it'll probably be a while before I get a chance to respond.

Has anyone got any sort of experience in this field? I was thinking that there were a couple of people on the boards with some experience with large ponds...I thought that Craig, for one, did...

I've had a couple, but nothing on that scale. Sounds sounds like a great project though. Good to see you on the board again! Keep us posted on the pond.
