I was curious as to how long Cichlid's breed. A pair of our bumble cichlids just layed a bunch of eggs, and of course they all died. I want to know when to expect this process to happen again.

Well it all depends on water conditions, tank size, and tank temperature. Also, alot is in the fish too. I have a breeding pair of angels, and they spawn about every 10 days. I've not got any babies to show for it though. On the average though most cichlids spawn once a month.

What color where the eggs when they atreted dying? And also did any of the eggs acctually hatch?
