how much would a 4 inch oscar cost?
what about a 10 inch?

4" in my area is around $9 and a 10" is about 14 or 20 depending on store..

Yep, that's right, a 10" about $20 to $25 in my area. At like Petsmart or Petco though you'd pay like $7 for just a 2" inch one!

my 2 was 599 (635 inc tax)

Yea, price varies between areas but usually wherever you are you can usually get better deals from small mom and pop fish stores. I bought my oscars from a small Asian fish store.
