HELP!

Postby DanRad on Wed May 10, 2006 10:57 pm

Hi, Mandy! Welcome to the forum!

I wouldn't panic yet. Cichlids are quite intelligent fish, and often need some time to get used to new surroundings. I see that you have listed your water parameters carefully, which makes me think you are not totally new to fish keeping. Do you know what kind of cichlids you have?

Not really that abnormal, if all they're doing is hanging out & looking worried. It's great that you did all that homework -- gives you a real head start. Here's a link you might find helpful. Is there any chance you could send us a picture of your fish? That way we could tell you what kind you have, and let you know if we see anything obviously amiss.

You might also look through our photo galleries to see if you find any like yours.
