Hello everyone

I just got my tank up and running with a 6" red devil, she is absoulutly beautiful, however after purchasing her I have been doing an abundance of research on her and I think I might have my hands full. My cats are already scared of her, because she goes after them when they peak in the tank. As I go by the tank she fans all her fins and follows me as I get closer. She is the farthest thing from being shy. Is this regular behavior for her species? She is the only one in the tank right now and I think it might just stay that way however Should I even attempt to introduce a pleco or is it even necessary? I am not possitve if she is a female however as I have been reading she doesn;t have the buldge on her head as most sites determine the sex from the buldge. Any info on red devils is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks all

This is a great site, I really enjoy it!;)

At 6" red devils may not have a nauchal hump (head bump) no matter what their sex.
