Hello Jamie! So you've got some expeirance with Gourammis, I've got 4 now I thunk they are preety cool fish! I have a 5 1/2 inch moonlight G in with my O. I also have a gold and a two dwarf G's in a community tank, one of the dwarfs is blue and red and one is orange. The gold (4 1/2 inches) picks on the blue dwarf and has already killed a 4 inch sapphire. Are these fish predjudice or what? She picks on the blue ones but leaves the orange one alone, any clues? I used to keep alot of blue gourami. to reduce agression I like to put in 1 male and however many females you like. the golds are ALOT more aggressive that the normal blues but you can be successful if you keep 1 blue male with gold females. probably they killed eachother cuz of two males. you can tell then apart by the male having a heavier build and a pointed dorsal fin as the females have a short round one. some say that the feelers are longer in the male but I think that that has more to do with genetics. I would like to get a gourami(the really big ones) that are called the "gourami" I guiss because the already used the name "giant gourami" on those stupid 4" longe ones! I would like to get those cuz they would make a great tank mate for and oscar as the get about 2' long!
