I bought a Whisper System 5 power filter yesterday. I already had one but needed more filtration for the messy oscars. I don't know anybody else who uses this brand of filter but in my experience they are very good filters. What does everybody else think?What kind of filters do you use?I was thinking about a trickle filter but I can build one of those what do you guys think about that?

I have one whisper filter, guess it's regular kind, has two compartments and rated for like 65gallons i think. I also have a magnum 350, and an overtheback system with two or 3 filtration compartments and "bioballs". I have some Marineland 125gall and 175gallon with those "BioWheels" for my 20gallon and 10gallon tanks....I also have these small sponge-like filters, they use cotton ontop of activated carbon and airstone in the middle. These little things only cost me like $5 and I keep them along with the marineland filters because they can take out the very "small" particles which the marineland can't.
