How about NONE!! I would not feed them feeders as U just don't know what conditions the golds were kept in..
Keep them on pellets, frozen salad shrimp (defrosted) other shimp as long as they are not to big.. they do have great frozen foods now that are better for them than feeders.. I feed my midas frozen (defrosted in hot water/then tank water) small salad shrimp and they LOVE them.. I know they are eating some great food and they are just fine.. As this is a treat, they only get them every 4 days as if they eat it to much, they wont' eat the pellets.. So be aware of that.. Feeders have the risk of carriing internal parasites and U dont' want them to get that!!

Well, I must confess I'm guilty of feeding my oscars quite a few goldfish over the years :D
Guess I got lucky though, never ended up with any really bad batch in terms of disease....you could feed them 'feeder' fish you raise yourself also....I could of fed them convicts but i just didn't like the idea of cichlids eating cichlids, guess kind of thought of it as cannibalism. (Although that didn't stop my red devis from devouring their own brothers and sisters! They really are devils!)
