I HAVE 4" ALBINO OSCARS.THEY ARE NOT TO KEEN ON PELLETS OR FLAKE IS THERE ANY OTHER FOOD I COULD TRY. THEY DO LIKE GARDEN WORMS, NOT A VERY GOOD DIET WORMS EVERY DAY.

I'd stick with the pellets. Try a couple of different brands. Good for them. One thing Oscars will do is eat. Don't leave uneaten food longer than a few minutes.

And, one thing they don't do is go long without eating -- so even if they act like they don't like a certain brand of pellet, they'll eventually dig in.:thumbsup: Mr. DanRad is right, though, if you put something in and it looks like it's just going to float around and not get eaten, than net it out. Decomposing, uneaten food is your pet's worst enemy. It poisons the water.

If your feeding them garden worms, then it might take a few days before they decide to eat the pellets. After all they keep thinking the worms will be back soon, so why waste my appitite on a pellet.:D
