I was wanting to know witch would be better when the fish start geting big. Does it even make a diffrence?
My fish a big now and it seams like it takes so much of the flake food to get them full:eek:

What kind of fish are you keeping? If it's a l--a--r--g--e species like Oscars then I'd switch to the pellets. Be careful not to overfeed your tank, though -- feed only what your fish will eat and then stop. Decomposing fish food will foul the water and stress or kill your pets, so feed carefully!

Flake or pellet

Pellets are my choice over flakes any time. Once my juvenile baby fish get big enough, I change them over to the baby Hakari pellets right away. Less mess in the tank and more protein for them.
Pellets come in many sizes, the problem wil be finding a brand that the fish will like. They may not eat them right off. YOU may have to starve them a day or two if they refuse the pellets you get. After 2 days, they wil eat anything then.. :p
