Takes time, try doing it at feeding times by hand feeding and no quick movements

Fish tricks

all three of my o's hate pellets. but the new one will each anything else out of my hand and let me pet it. about 4 inchs. i will be sending a pic tomorrow hopefully. i will hold a earthroom till it gets it, and on the frozen shrimp i hold in tank for a bit to loosen up then let it nibble at it while i hold in my fingers. of course the flakes and the freeze dried food floats and it's on it's own then but you have to start out when they are young. my breeding pair forget it! they used to be nice and gentle. I am about to fillet one female..... joking!

Fish tricks

The six i have all come straight to the middle at the top where i always feed them as soon as they see me,, they will let me touch them but it is usualy just gently pushing them out of the way so the little albino can get some food too (he is real doppy and doesnt go crazy for the food like the others) the big guys, about 7in now, always size up my fingers for a little nibble, it does really hurt but i always try and keep my fist clenched when they give my finger "that" look.

When I tried to hand feed my O's a worm Would only take it when it was outof the water. I tried feeding with my hand in the water and my female came up to take it put darted away to the male, then they both came and circled my hand then the female sudenly bit the back of my hand, I dnoped the worm and the male ate it. Clever girl, they work in packs. Its just like jurasic park. We'r going to be taken over by cichlids. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH there coming to get us.
