Fish remover - patience required

Now I have to catch these Barbs & take them to the LFS....

I been trying to get them for over an hour now....
GEEEEEEEZ they're so durn fast & jumpy when they see the net in the water though!!!

In case anyone was wondering, our Oscars are now notably bigger than the barbs are now. The TFBs are very active fish, but kinda crazy - always shimmin against each other, chasing each other around.
When they get to racing around the tank, the Oscars get PO'd and start attacking them.
The TFB's safety is their speed, but bigger Oscars means more damage when they do connect. Flash is the smaller & faster Barb, but Blondie keeps nailing poor Mercury hard. It's got scales missin all over it.
I gotta get them outta there before the O's wind up killin them.
2 less mouths to feed & lowering the bioload on the tank a bit will be a nice bonus too.

For anyone wondering if Oscars have teeth, check the pic out.
There's 2 definite bites on that Barb.
One on the top just behind it's head, and the second is almost a perfect little circle just behind the gill cover and above it's pectoral fin.

Gotta remember to grab another smaller filter while I'm at the LFS too.....
The Fluval 104 I had on the 10g in the back room went belly up last night. :(
Good thing it had the AC20 on it too, or things coulda gotten kinda ugly for poor Sweeper (our little Bristle-nose pleco)

After I finished the above post & went back to trying to catch the Barbs, our Oscars decided to join in and help me. I kept the net at one end of the tank while the O's "escorted" each of the TFBs within capture range.
If either one cut back past the center of the tank, both Oscars were on it like a pair of well trained herding dogs!
:hurray::hurray: With the O's help, I had them both bagged in 10 mins. :hurray::hurray:

 Very good!
That'll do fish, that'll do!
:D Now here's a nice fat king-sized meal-worm for each of you! :D

Got both barbs to the LFS without a problem (other than the snowstorm goin on outside.)
Bye Flash! :bye:
Bye Mercury! :bye:

I even remembered to get the parts I needed to fix that Fluval 104 filter too.
