what would y'all suggest is the best filtration system on the market at a resenable price? i was thinking about investing in a bio-wheel but wanted some opions first. when we bought our tank we thought it was a 75 gallon, but low and behold did i get the deal and it turned out to be a 90 gallon. so i only have one 60 gallon filter and a 10-20 gallon filter on it and its been doing a fairly well job but i need another double filter like the 30-60. so what do y'all recomend?

For the price, the AquaClear 110 is hard to beat. It doesn't have a bio-wheel, but I think there's a DIY article around that tells you how to add one.

I've only found one drawback with them: Tray lift.
I've encountered this problem with ours.
After you've removed the media holder tray a few times, one side may not lock into place securely. As the water is pumped through, it causes the tray to rise, which lifts the biomedia out of the water.
Not a good thing, since dry media means dead bacterial colonies. The lift is so strong it actually pushes the AC110's lid off.

I've had to insert a stryofoam block in on one side to help keep the tray down at the proper depth,
and I placed a 2.5lb weight on the lid to counteract the lift.

With the boxing day specials coming up, you may be able to find a good deal on:
Emperor 400.....

or a big canister like a Fluval 404, Rena XP3, Eheim Pro II 2026 or 2028....
or even a Eheim Pro W/D 2227 or 2229
