NO it is not a good Idea. Parasites and fungus could be on the feeders that you CAN NOT SEE! Why take the chance??
You dont' say what you are feeding. Most larger cichlids, Oscars JD, and others wil eat a smaller fish. That is instinct. The ones in the wild are better suited for them, ones in captivity are not..
Have you not ever noticed the tank they are in?? they are dirty and are never cleaned properly between shipments. Most fish store tanks are connected to one another so one diseased tank contaminates them all..Most who feed live foods now, have their own tanks and breed them themselves. You may want to see about that if you have the tank space, say a 20 gal with guppies..
