CichlidFish.com - Fish That Think.

Hi Everyone,
I been using this board for sometime now and so far I only know a few of you. In most cases I know more about your fish and tanks setup then i do about you so I would like to see everyone post a pic of themselfs and maybe some details, i.e name, age, location, interests, etc. I would really like to be able to put a face to a name, I understand that not everyone likes to give out these details over the net, they like there privacy etc etc, but it would be nice to know something about you all the same.... This part out of the board is chit chat about anything so let it fly [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

Anywayz i guess i will go first, For those of you who dont know, My real name is Michael Omay, I come from a small seaside town in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. I am 23 yrs old and i am not married and have no kids (scary thought hehehehe) I work as an IT Support officer (i.e professional computer nerd) for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle (and no i am not catholic, or religous at all, but i respect there beleifs all the same) My hobbies and interests are Aquariums, Computers, Taekwondo(been training most of my life) Playing guitar(play in a band, old 60's stuff) scuba diving and spearfishing(shhh dont tell my O's)

So how about you guys?? like I said some people dont like to give out there details over the net, I personaly dont care, but some people dont like to, but It would be nice just to get a first name and a little info or anything really....

Hi, Nice to get a face with a name. I am Katie and I have a husband and 6 kids. My kids are 21(girl), 17 (son), 12 (girl), 9 (son), 2 & 3 months (boys). I have a dog, a cat, 8 Oscars, 5 JDs, one Red Tailed Shark, and 3 pyrahnas that I don't like. I also have a 1 month old grandson. I live in Minnesota and my job is/was as a network administrator, software administrator.

Well I am also from a seaside township in Queensland near Brisbane.
I am 15 years older than Qserv, have 6 kids, lotsa tanks,lotsa fish.
I am semi retired and semi working.
At the moment I am going into the fish tank building buisness and hope to make lotsa money ( Doesant hurt to dream LOL )

Ok well I'm 17, I work at petsmart, I'm the fish expert there(all though to be the fish expert at petsmart all you need to know is, "fish live in water" [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img])I make $6 ab hour, I drive the greatest car ever(1984 volvo GL sadan)18 years old and still runs like a champ! I play bass, lisen to old 60s and 70s rock(zeppelin rules!). I like fishing. Learning to scuba dive this summer. well thats about it.

Hey Andy,
To bad you live in the US, we are looking for a new bass player, Our bass guy up and left a few weeks ago, moved to victoria for work. Seems like you have the similar taste in music to our band, we play Hendrix, Black sabath, led zep, some of beatles later stuff plus heaps of others.

Get a Holden Commodore, Its an Aussie car so i guess you Americans wouldnt know what they are, they are great, i have a 1987 VL calais(Top of the line commodore) spent a lot of time and money on making it look new and making run well, even has a new 2pac pearl/metallic paint job, bout to scrap the engine thats in it and put a new turbo motor in, got pics of it somewhere here if your interested.
And as for drink i choice, i would have to go with Black Sambuka [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
