Eye problem

im having a problem with my oscar, it either got spooked or was fighting with another of my oscars and an eye sorta popped out. it is sticking out 2 times its normal size. is this normal and what can i do if anything to get him back to normal. got a 120 gallon tank with water temp around 78 degrees. 3 other tankmates(all 3 oscars) around the same size

Sounds like Popeye, it's a bacterial disease. Gas bubbles get trapped behind the eye, causing the inflamation and disease.Use Maracyn-2 to treat, and coppersafe or maracide to prevent parasitical infection that can occur when the fish is stressed.

thanks alot, went to the store and got some Maracyn-2, and a hospital tank to put him in.
will get the maracide or coppersafe tomorrow when the store opens again.
