I planning to get a salt water tank, the tank size is about 30 gallon tank. What kind of equipment did you need to keep a salt water tank going?

for starters - the same stuff as a regular setup



then from there it depends what your going to have in the tank - fish only,inverts,corals,mixed etc...

Also do clowns and other salt water need alot of light?

saltwater fish don't need anymore light then freshwater fish, again where you get into lighting concerns is adding other things - (live)corals , anenomes (which clowns need to do their best),live rock and etc..
