lol, ive been away for a while (summer hols baby) and yeah, fish lay eggs at differant times.

my pair of 5 inch sevs (still too young to actually spawn sucessfully) lay eggs every week, guard them constantly for 2 days and then eat them every time... just for a laugh it seems.

my corys have only ever bred once...afer i owned them 6 months or something.

and my collection of carp and goldfish only spawn for about 3 weeks in the height of summer, year in year out.

with cichlids its more regular then with other fish as they seem to require less stimulus then other less advanced fish, and once they start, they seldom stop.
