Honestly I dont know what happened... I was awoken at 6 am this morning by the loud zapping sound of the strip shorting out... to give you an idea it was only burning for about 10 secs before I smothered it out. It was connected to my saltwater tank and as far as I know there was no water that could have leaked into the strip... I dont know if it was a faulty strip or a faulty powerhead but you can see that the fire was centralized at that middle socket, where one of my maxi-jet powerheads was plugged in... all the plugs in the strip are melted and worthless now... Just so everyone knows the power strip in question was made by Power Sentry Inc... you might want to take a look at what you are using on your tanks.

As for the email account I am not sure... I havent gotten new mail since the 17th so if you have sent something since then... I havent gotten it and something is probably wrong... if not everything is probably fine

Anyway you told me to take off the forwarding so I did. Now to check your email account on cichlidfish.com you need to either login to the web email, ie see http://www.cichlidfish.com/admins.shtml
or configure your MS outlook express or Eudora or other email program to use cichlidfish.com as the POP address. I'm going to email you something there as a test. later

that was so scary i counted how many power surge strips i have. 7 in all, i showed the pic to roomie and he went out and replaced all with a brand called belkin..fingers crossed

LoL I thought it was c code at first to then I looked at it close and made out a few words and just thought how bad of shape tony had to be in when he typed that

Not sure what the go is over there but here houses have highly sensitive trip switches that trip at the sightest fault.
Gets a pain at times but well worth it.
My Os trip it when they play up and splash the power strips, my brother tripped it once by hammering a nail in a wall. It went straight through 240volts AC of power cable and the good old trip switches saved his life or he would have been fried.
He considered taking up religion after that LOL
