REason I'm asking is somehow after the import I had to hack the database to make myself and Admin again!

Somehow it didn't keep me in the admin group after the import...

Well its not like I had/have a whole lot of powers, but I can get into the admin section, so something must be right. I haven't tried any edits, or such stuff as of yet, but all in all, I think everything for my Mod status is ok.

ok cool, wanted to make sure moderators were still moderators and admins admins...
you had to reset you password to get in right? apparently they use different encryption so couldn't get passwords to transfer over...

No need to reset my password or anything,just logged in.

ah cool, great to hear you didn't have to reset your password, maybe it was just my username that was messed up I hope. Anyone else logging in with old password as usual with no problems?

I had to redo mine.. but I may have been trying the wrong one.. :dontknow:

But I got on fine after that.. It seems everything else is the same.. tmbsup

O and the time does not reset after I log out. it stays the same and keeps counting when I log back in from the last time I was here.. Is it surposed to do that??

I'm not sure how its supposed to work, but Jeramy or Tony should be able to confirm how the timer is supposed to work. It doesn't seem to reset for me either but there may be some setting in Admin section that I don't know about.. :read:

people can adjust their time offsets via their profile in the Look and Layout Preferences section

The clock only works as you browse the pages, otherwise it stays still.. If you logout, it goes to the default server setting time and not your time zone.

I think she was referring to the total "time logged in"... mine says 6hours 11 minutes now...

And about the smilies, at the top of this thread, the first post you'll notice there's a grin.gif that doesn't show up for some reason...that's what I was referring to in another post about the smilies ...

,,,each time you login you can stay officially timed as standard 15 minutes idle(forum admin default),,, if you logout before 15 minutes the time naturally stops untill you log back in. This thresshold can be increased by a admin (eg 1 minute to 99999minutes)

Each time your logged in you are reset each time you "click" a forum link and the total time counter is started again.

Mark were you able to login with your usual password (ie same one as in Vbulletin) or did you have to reset your password?
(and can anyone figure out why grin.gif is not working? I think the file does exist..)
