not a fish question but not sure where to post
has any one built their own tank 100-125 gal
how difficult is it to build and safe in my wifes house is it
also how do you equip a tank that size

Depends - how do you want to build one?
wood with a glass front?
glass?
acrylic?


also how do you equip a tank that size

again it depends:
do you want a wet/dry? (best for large tanks IMO)
want to use hang on's ?

all glass tank
would prefer hang on filters but i want
the best filtration for my oscar
not necessarily the cadilac but good

It's not hard,

basically you put whats going to be the tank on some dowel rods,(to raise it so the weights not resting on it,wehn it's filled) make a box with the sides front and back,around the bottom.silicon it all together,let it dry then run silicon on the inside seams.

BUT

for an all glass tank 150 gallons or less it's just as cheap if not cheaper to just buy a tank already made.
