yep would like to know how it goes, my skimmerless system is doing great and I have no expanded to SPS's, have kept them many of times, but never w/o a skimmer.

Sorry about the lack of updates...been insanely busy with school...

Yeah, both the clowns kicked the bucket while I was in Argentina...oh well, still no fish in the tank at the moment. Its all cycled, but really out of order (no skimmer at the moment) because we just moved across town...

I'll get some pics up (maybe) in the next few weeks, if I can get a break from some of the homework.

what is your next step?,are you going to get a skimmer up and running?and have another go?

junior hope the corals go well especially without a skimmer,i was gonna opt for no skimmer,so will be interested how things go for you.

Yeah, I've got a prism that works fine and everything...just too busy to even think about messing with it. I'm barely able to keep up with water changes, and screwing with the skimmer for 5 or 10 minutes every few days isn't so appealing right now.

The skimmer will make its way back in, though, as will a sump, eventually.

I have gone skimmerless many times, just takes a little more attention and is a bit more touchy. I like doing it because most of the phyto that I introduce stays in the tank is eaten by the corals, really helps.

nice to hear that your clowns are breeding!..what do you do with the fry?..some money to be made im sure!..

ya you could make some decent cash on Gold stripe marron clown fry, but I don't have the time right now, so they are just being ate by the corals.

well at least somethings making good use of them!..
