I'm still pretty new to aquariums, and I've rarely checked the books or talked to other aquarists. Even with not reading books, I've done pretty well with all the fish I've had. I even seem to be good at keeping fish - all the fish I've had seem to live pretty well unless something technical like the heater acting funny happens. I've got one question, what exactly is cycling and why is it so important?
