convicts have little swimming eggs.. now what

My black convicts have set up shop in the 55 gallon. Will they do an effective job of keeping the fry from being an oscars dinner or do I need to move the nest and parents before it becomes a problem. Also, can anyone offer advise on breeding and care for the convict fry.
