i have a female convict that seems to have a ... prodtruding anus and her left side is lumpy. she's about 2 inches, and really mean..but as colorful as a pink convict can get. her lower fins are like all blue and topped with yellow and orange. her upper fins are oranged topped with blue and yellow. really nice. anyways... what can reverse her probs?

sounds like possibly constipation... if it's not that is sounds like something much more serious. I've never heard of a fishes side being lumpy in connection with constipation but it is possible. It could aslo be eggs, many species of fish get quite bloated while carrying eggs. I would say stop feeding for 2 days and see if the problem clears up, that should give her enough time to pass whatever it is that is troubling her.
