He looks alright, but his tail broke off. He was sheding at the time, and he seems to be having troble finishing, I think the cat ripped off some skin before it was ready to come off.
Well I hope hes ok, damn cat

Nothing like that has ever happend to my lizards, about the losing of the tail, i have had 3 of my 7 lose their tails, it will grow back in time, if the cat did tear off some skin before it was ready i would make sure to keep it clean(and dry if possible)sand will stick to the hurt area, so be carefull. if you have a small lizard carrier i would put him in that and keep the heat on all of the time(if you have a heat lamp that gives out light, keep it on for as long as possible)and make sure to moniter the food you give, only feed a few crickets at a time to prevent infection. that should do it, my guys have survived being crushed buy a rock, and serveral brocked legs. as long as you take extra care of him at this time he should be fine after his next, couple of sheds. hope this helps. and remember heat, heat, heat, that will get them through anything.

oh, and about him having trouble shedding the rest of his skin, as long as he is all white and not just cloudy looking you can go ahead and peel the rest off if he hasn't gottin all of it off yet. i take the extra skin that my lizards get on their toes off, if i don't the the skin could cut off circulation and the toes would fall off. all of my lizard are about 10 years old, so they don't shed that much anymore(about twice a year), sorry if i talk alot about them, i just love my lizards. what did you name yours?

well I helped him shed the rest of his skin, he's realynot in to bad of shape anymore. His one eye couldn't seem to open all the way for a while, but he liked it enough and now its open. The only problem is that he's still not eating. I've had problems with this gecko not eating before, and just when I get him eating like a pig again he get beating by the cat and won't eat again. Image
Oh well he's active, I'm sure he'll come to.
Thanks for all the advice.

if he still won't eat try some stuff called jump-start or something like that, one of my females was egg bound(couldn't pass her eggs), and after i took her to the vet to get them removed she didn't eat for about 2 weeks, i tried that stuff and it worked really good, it is kinda hard to feed them it but it gets the job done.
