i have this 55 gallon tank and it has some gourami's and angel fish and a pleco and some guppies just stuff like that but it seems like no matter how clean i get the tank it always seems cloudy is tthis due to the light or am i doing something wrong.

Hi, Wemery!  Haven't seen you in a while!  Can you give us a little more info on your tank?  What are the water params, esp ammonia, nitrate, nitrite?  Besides all the fish, do you have plants?  What kind of filtration are you running?  What kind of lighting, and how long does it stay on?  Any other sources of light -- window, etc?  What's your water change regimen?  Maybe the problem lies with none of the above, but the answers might help us zero in.

Just one other question to add to Dan's. What colour is the cloudiness, greenish, whitish, or brownish

its a  55 gallon with black sand... the light is on all day only off when i sleep... im running a regal filter with carbon and a power head... there are no live plants... the color is white its almost like the light is like putting white into the water haha its not like a thick white its just like not clear water... it is but its not the clearist it could be and i dont know why...

I'd think the most likely culprit is microscopic aglae.  Try leaving the light off for four or five days.  I assume you're keeping up with water changes?  Also re-examine how much you're feeding at any one time.
