I have heard that some plecos can scratch acrylic tanks (especially the royal plecos), is that true??? Does anyone have experience with the big plecos?? I want to get one for my 75 gallon oscar tank, but I don't want it to scratch the acrylic.

I would think so, acrylic is not that hard to scratch....get a spiny bone on it and you can have a scratch.
