sounds like you went with the most aggressive and least tolerant bunch of cichlids you could find :Þ . I would think that those might be okay if introduced as juvi's in your large tank... dont buy mature fish or you will have some dead ones on your hands.

with these very aggressive fish they need a lot more room then your average fish because they are so territorial. I dont know if I would reccomend anymore fish in that tank.

I wouldnt mind one of those giant gouramies but man they get big. One of my lfs`s has one which is just huge and lives in a 300 gallon tank. His name is Henry and has lots of personality just like an oscar.

yah they do get big..and you'd need a wide tank too, since i dont think they can bend that well.. hell, if u wanted one, buy it and when it gets too big ...eat it! Image they eat them in india and consider them a delicacy. chop off its happy, fat, tasty head, and take the family out to a chinese resturant. they should cook it for u..seems kinda cruel huh? Image
...you know whats even crueler?

those fish should be fine in a 100 gallon as long as you introduce them as juveniles as mentioned above. 125 gallon would be a little better. what are the dimensions of the 100 gallon tank you have. you'll need as much length and width as possible. i will, eventually (after getting rid of a couple of fish and rearranging the stock in my tank) have a 125 gallon with a red terror, midas, oscar, and jaguar. my jag is rather peaceful, i think it's a female (males are more aggressive). you can try anything, just beware of the possibility of having to return one of the fish if the situation gets out of hand.
