ok im new to the whole breeding thing. i have bred guppys b4 but i wasnt even tryin an now im lookin up all this **** to breed tiger barbs an none of its workin. my breeding tank is a 10gal with marbles on the bottom an 2 melon sword plants an im not havin any luck water it perfict temp is 76(ive changed it every where from 70 to 80) an i fattin them up on brime shrimp an stuff acouple days b4 i try breeding them. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRICIATED

have you tryed:

adding some peat or blackwater extract?

heavily feeding them with live (or frozen ) foods other then brine? Like bloodworms,blackworms,etc.. ?

and are you sure you have both sexes?


If none of that works - are they mature?

If nothing still works - drop their water level for a while,when you raise it back up add cool water.

nope no luck with any of that an i KNOW that they are oposite sexes one is skinny an bright an the other is fat...but the male IS a tiger an the other is albino could this be a prob?
