Hi,,
I recently had a pair of albino oscars mate.
My first time... Unfortunatly, my Jack Dempsey ate most of the eggs and the oscars ate the rest.. After getting a letter from Joe, he suggested a tank divider. I plan on doing that,, but my question is,, what do you do with all the baby oscars? I cannot affort to go out and buy 10 125 gallon tanks,, any suggestions would be great,, thanx.....

Hi Elana,

It's me again, well I know it's very hard to do, I speak from experience since reason I had convicts is I wanted to feed the convict fry to other "bigger" fry, but I just couldn't do it...You really can't raise all the oscars though and for the benefit of all some of them should die so that the rest can grow up healthy. Unless of course, you 'somehow' find the money to invest in several new tanks and filter systems. I'd guess it's probably easiest to get rid of some of the fry at very early stages, especially so that you don't get too attached to them :) take care,

Joe
